WITHDRAWAL FROM A DISTANCE SALES AGREEMENT

INFORMATION ON WITHDRAWAL FROM A DISTANCE SALES AGREEMENT

  1. A Buyer-Consumer who has entered into a distance sales agreement may withdraw from it without providing a reason within 14 days from the day the Buyer-Consumer took possession of the item, or when a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the Buyer-Consumer took possession of the last item. The return of goods must comply with the rules set forth below (Withdrawal from the Agreement).

  2. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the Buyer-Consumer to send information regarding the exercise of their right to withdraw from the agreement before the withdrawal period expires, as specified in point 1.

  3. After the period specified in point 1 expires, the right to withdraw from the agreement ceases.

  4. To withdraw from the agreement, the Buyer-Consumer must inform the Seller (Online Store) by providing a clear declaration of withdrawal from the agreement, sent, for example, by post. A template withdrawal form is available on the Online Store’s website. The Buyer-Consumer may also send any other clear declaration of withdrawal to the address of the Online Store.

  5. Promptly—i.e., as quickly as possible given the circumstances of time and place—after receiving the withdrawal form or another clear declaration of withdrawal from the Buyer-Consumer, the Online Store will confirm its receipt on a durable medium, for example, via email.

  6. In the event of withdrawal from the agreement, the Online Store will refund all payments received from the Buyer-Consumer, including the costs of delivering the item, except for additional costs resulting from the Buyer-Consumer's choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive, standard delivery method offered by the Online Store. This refund will be made promptly and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which the Online Store was informed of the Buyer-Consumer's decision to exercise the right to withdraw from the agreement. The refund will be made using the same payment methods that were used by the Buyer-Consumer in the original transaction, unless the Buyer-Consumer explicitly agrees to another solution.

In the case of a partial return, the Buyer-Consumer will only be refunded the cost of the purchased item(s), excluding shipping costs.

  1. The Online Store may withhold the refund until it has received the item or until proof of its return has been provided, whichever occurs first.

  2. The Buyer-Consumer bears the direct costs of returning (shipping/packaging) the item. In particular, the Buyer-Consumer is asked to use a method of packaging the returned item that ensures the package is secured in a way appropriate for its type, especially against damage during transport.

  3. The Buyer-Consumer has the right to examine the nature, features, and functioning of the item. This means that the Buyer-Consumer may not use the item. If the Buyer-Consumer is found to have used the item in a way exceeding what is necessary to determine its nature, features, and functioning, the Buyer-Consumer will be liable for any reduction in its value.

  4. The Buyer-Consumer is asked to return or deliver the item along with the receipt (or VAT invoice) and the original return form to the address of the Online Store promptly and in any case no later than 14 days from the day the Buyer-Consumer informed the Online Store about the withdrawal from the agreement. The deadline is met if the Buyer-Consumer sends the item back before the 14-day period has expired.
