1. Who processes your personal data, i.e., who is the Data Controller?

The controller of your personal data is Zakład Produkcyjno Usługowy Stolarstwo Eksport Import Dorota Śleziak, with its registered office at Mirowszczyzna 36, 46-325 Rudniki (hereinafter referred to as “Stolarstwo”).

2. Where do we get your data from?

If we have your data, it means you made a purchase on our website or on the Allegro.pl platform, or you placed an order by email.

3. Why do we process your data?

Without your personal data, we unfortunately cannot provide any services. Your data primarily enables us to fulfill orders, contact the buyer, and—less frequently—send marketing information such as promotions. For example, to deliver an ordered product, we need your first and last name, delivery address, phone number, and email address (e.g., for delivery to an InPost parcel locker). If, for some reason, you do not provide us with this information, we will be unable to process your order.

In particular, we process your data:

  • For the performance of a service contract (including fulfilling orders, processing payments, communicating with you in connection with our services, or communicating via the contact form). The legal basis for this processing is necessity for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • For handling complaints, returns, and other claims The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of Stolarstwo (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), which involves securing information about our cooperation (including, among other things, the history of your orders, correspondence with us, and payments) to address any claims or returns.
  • For analytical or statistical purposes The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of Stolarstwo (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in reporting and determining the best directions for our development.
  • For sending you marketing communications by Stolarstwo. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of Stolarstwo (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), involving the provision of requested marketing messages, including newsletters nically. (i.e., emails containing information about current offers, promotions, or contests). We only process your data for this purpose if you have consented to receiving marketing information (newsletters) electronically.

Your personal data will be processed in an IT environment, which means it may also be temporarily stored and processed to ensure the security and proper functioning of our IT systems (e.g., through backups, tests of system changes, detecting irregularities, or protection against fraud and attacks).

If you agree, we will also process your personal data to store information in cookies, collect data from websites and mobile applications, and organize contests and promotional campaigns in which you may participate.

4. How long do we store your data?

We store your personal data for the duration of the contract concluded with you and also after its termination for the purposes of:

  • pursuing claims and returns in connection with the performance of the contract,
  • fulfilling legal obligations, in particular tax and accounting obligations,
  • preventing abuse and fraud,
  • statistical and archival purposes,
  • for a maximum period of 10 years from the date the contract is completed.

We store your personal data for marketing purposes for the duration of the contract or until you object to such processing, whichever occurs first.

5. To whom do we disclose your data?

In connection with the services provided to Stolarstwo by external entities, these entities may gain access to your personal data to the extent necessary to provide those services. Such entities include providers of IT services and systems, postal and courier service providers, payment operators, as well as providers of consulting, legal, or auditing services, and other external subcontractors.

6. What are your rights?

  • Access to and copies of your data: You have the right to obtain information on how and to what extent we process your data, as well as to request a copy of your personal data. If your request includes a copy of the data, please specify which data you would like to receive.
  • Rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing: You have the right to request the rectification of your data (if it was recorded incorrectly or has changed), its erasure (if there is no basis for Stolarstwo to continue processing it), or restriction of its processing (if you want Stolarstwo to process your data only to a limited extent, for example until your objection or rectification request is resolved, or if you wish the data to be stored in connection with your potential claims).
  • Data portability: You have the right to request that the data you provided to us be transferred to you in a commonly used, machine-readable format. You may then forward that data to a controller of your choice. Moreover, if it is technically feasible and secure, we can transfer this data on your behalf at your request.

If you believe that our processing of your data violates your rights, please let us know. We strive to address all comments and suggestions from our users. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office or its successor).
